NewSeed Soft+ Bamboo Fabric Care Guide

This guide will help you easily care for your Soft+ bamboo fabrics. This fabrics is durable yet soft, and with a little care, it’ll stay in great condition for a long time. Follow the practical tips below from our brand team and users, and your NewSeed clothes will remain soft and like new even after multiple washes.

1. Sort Wisely

To avoid pilling or snags, wash your clothes separately from rough items like towels and Velcro-fastened garments. It’s recommended to set a dedicated wash day for bamboo fabrics, and some users even prepare a special laundry basket just for them.

2. Turn Inside Out & Secure Closures

Before washing, turn the clothes inside out, zip up all zippers, and fasten all snaps. This simple step effectively protects the fabric and extends the lifespan of the clothes.

3. Wash in Cold Water

Always wash clothes in cold water (no higher than 30℃) and select the gentle wash cycle for the best results.

4. Use Mild Detergent

Choose a mild, biodegradable liquid detergent, and use less rather than more—halve the regular amount (maximum one tablespoon) to prevent detergent residue and keep the fabric fresh.

5. Avoid Fabric Softeners & Bleach

Soft+ bamboo fabrics have a natural soft texture, so there’s no need for fabric softeners; bleach is strictly prohibited. For added softness and odor removal, you can add a small amount of distilled white vinegar during washing—it’s natural and gentle on the fabric.

6. Stain Removal Tips

Kids are prone to getting clothes dirty, and bamboo fabrics are no exception when it comes to stains. Emergency solution: Mix hydrogen peroxide with blue Dawn Dish Soap, gently apply it to the stained area, rinse thoroughly, then wash as usual. For stubborn stains, soak the clothes for 30-45 minutes (be sure to treat stains before drying).

7. Sunlight: Natural Stain Remover

Got stains on white trim or collars? Let the sun work its magic. Lay the wet clothes flat with the stained side up in the sun (it works even on cloudy days), but be sure to take them in once dry to avoid fading.

8. Smart Drying

Prioritize line drying—it’s gentle on the fabric, eco-friendly, and key to keeping the fabric soft. If you must use a dryer, set it to a low-heat mode to minimize damage, and never use dryer sheets.

9. Proper Storage

If you plan to pass down your clothes, store them in fabric bags or breathable storage boxes to keep out moisture and mildew. Avoid using plastic or cardboard boxes.

That’s all you need to keep your Soft+ bamboo clothes—for babies, newborns, toddlers, and kids—soft, skin-friendly, and ready for everyday wear!
